Fungal disease
Powdery mildew
How to recognise it
White, wipeable coating on the upper leaf side.
What helps
Remove affected leaves (household waste, not compost), improve airflow and light, water at the base. Powdery mildew likes warm days with dry air.
Often a care issue is behind it (watering, light, placement) – the care check in the app helps narrow it down.
